shellylh Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 Nice Marc! I just open a new bottle of Campari and poured a little "Forgotten" drink myself. Boulevardier 3/2 oz 17yr Vintage Bourbon 1 oz Campari 1 oz Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth
manaox2 Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 Ballast Point Sculpin IPA poured from a 22oz bomber. Picked it practically straight off the delivery truck.
morphsci Posted May 13, 2011 Author Report Posted May 13, 2011 Karen decided it is a good day to drink so we are having a pair of Blackwoods and Luksosowa Vespers.
shellylh Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 Karen was right, it is an excellent day to drink! Having some Norton Reserva Malbec myself.
Augsburger Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 good news? Only if it is good champagne. What is it Dinny? 2008 Signorello Seta; Semillon is overpowering the Sauvignon Blanc but it is tasty nonetheless. For those who like a nice acid pop, this does it. Would go well with a poached tuna and olives, chilean sea bass with a terriyaki sauce or a lot of sauce based chinese food. Colin should try this with his next chinese food dinner. Going to take in the sunset now.
shellylh Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 Back to Anvil Last Word I think I may have made this one before but I could find any reference to it. I like it. 3/4 oz Old Raj gin 3/4 oz Green Chartreuse 3/4 oz Maraschino Liqueur 3/4 oz lime juice
Voltron Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 Cheers to Karen and drinking on Friday! Can you guess which Little Italy is mine?
morphsci Posted May 14, 2011 Author Report Posted May 14, 2011 I think Old Raj approves of that Last Word, Shelly. That may be my favorite drink using Maraschino liquor, limes on the shopping list for tomorrow. Can you guess which Little Italy is mine? All three?
shellylh Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 (edited) Cheers to Karen and drinking on Friday! Can you guess which Little Italy is mine? The one half empty? Edited May 14, 2011 by shellylh
Fitz Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 Cheers to Karen and drinking on Friday! Can you guess which Little Italy is mine? I don't see any red beverages so I'm not sure...
Voltron Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 It was the one in the middle with twice as much booze in it! Now:
The Monkey Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 17yo Vintage Bourbon. And a bowl of chocolate ice cream. Not mixed.
