That's the beer that got me through my summer in Veracruz and Puebla with absolutely no GI problems. You are right, it's not beer, it's magic.

2007 Valdez Petite Syrah, really nice loaded with fruit and hits the mid palate like a fruit bomb. Me likey.

Centennial Martyr Double IPA

Color: Amber to medium red

ABV: 8.00%

IBU: 92

Features: clover honey from hunter's honey farm in martinsville, indiana and amarillo hops

not sure why they didn't use Centennial hops heh...the brewery was spawned from the Scotty's Brewhouse chain...i also sampled their Hubbards & Craven collab...i'll hafta investigate them further...

I know it's not fully appropriate for the new H-C Glencairn glasses, but I don't have any scotch (not even bar scotch!) in house. So.....tipping up a little Lucid Absenthe in the new glass tonight, drinking alone - is that a problem? :lol:

Went to make an "FBI Fizz ala Al" but realized I didn't have any soda or sparkling water (wasn't about to try making it with 7-up ;) ). So, I am having a Negroni instead. Cheers!
