How do you like the Miller's Al? I would still like to try it.

I have been really busy (with work and playing nurse) so haven't been doing much drinking or mixing. I decided to pour a light drink, Aperol and sparkling water. After having poured the Aperol I realized I was out of sparkling water so I used 7-up instead, it is aweful, don't try it.

Nice Al, an improved gin cocktail with genevieve and an aviation with Miller's Welbourne strength. How is the Miller's, I have not had the pleasure of tasting it?

Sorry for the lack of cocktail time Shelly but I'm sure your hubby is appreciative, work on the other hand is probably oblivious.

Had another Seelbach to finish off the Sophia Blanc de Blanc and now having a Derby

1 oz Bourbon

1/2 oz Carpano Antica

1/2 oz Clement Creole Shrub

3/4 oz Key Lime Juice

Shake, double strain and garnish with a sprig of mint.

Shelly, I hope your lot improves and cocktail time returns. I like the Westbourne Strength but not the regular Millers. It made for a really great Aviation. I thought about Junipero but that is too much juniper for such a drink.

Pondering what's next.

Hubby's feeling a bit better today and my guest left this morning, so I am "relaxing" and having a Manhattan (with a dash of cherry bitters) while reading my grad student's PhD thesis.
