Grahame
Cool cup Marc! I have a picture somewhere of me standing next to the real thing way back when though I don't recall a gift shop anywhere near there. Here Perhaps? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Checkpoint_Charlie_Museum . Visited it when the wall was up, and with Joanne, just as it was coming down. I recall how cold it was, and the incessant sound of people chipping at the wall with hammers. November '89. Wow, that long ago.

shellylh
Spent the last three days in Tyler, TX, in a dry county (which means you can only buy beer/wine/liquor at a restaurant/bar) and the best thing that I could find at a restaurant or bar was Shiner Bock, Abita Amber or Glenlivet... so that is what I was stuck with. Isn't really so bad but next time I will stock the car up before taking the drive. Now I am sitting in the back yard, drinking a DFH 60 minute and enjoying life. emelius
& that, my friends, is a pint of Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout...I was tempted to go for a 22oz, but the bartender looked experienced:)...&, judging from the price, they learned from their 22oz Backwoods Bastard mistake:)...
