Voltron Posted August 8, 2022 Report Posted August 8, 2022 This is what the thread is about. Detroit Style Pizza! With a BIG pepperoni. 🤩 7 3 Quote
Voltron Posted August 13, 2022 Report Posted August 13, 2022 https://www.seriouseats.com/detroit-style-pizza-recipe Followed this closely, including the sauce, and buying the pan from Amazon but I was able to get the Wisconsin Brick Cheese locally here. When I made it in California, I used mozzarella for most of the pizza, but used jack cheese around the perimeter because you want a little more oily cheese to melt and crust up the edges. Really tasty. Alden likes pesto so that's why one third is green. 😁 3 Quote
swt61 Posted August 13, 2022 Report Posted August 13, 2022 Technically this qualifies as cooking, because I cooked the bacon in my BLTA. 5 Quote

Love it. Yum. I wish I could taste it. What peppers did you use to make it spicy? And did you use lime juice? Quote
Voltron Posted September 10, 2022 Report Posted September 10, 2022 The only chile pepper I know by name is a large cayenne pepper in the first photo, and I used two of each of the other three in the second photo. Those three are not known to me, but were bought at a farm stand. 5 Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted September 11, 2022 Report Posted September 11, 2022 The ones on the left look like finger peppers. I have no idea what the ones on the right are: https://www.pepperscale.com/round-peppers/ Also: noice! A man after my own heart. ALL THE PEPPERS! Gotta try 'em all... 1 Quote
Voltron Posted September 12, 2022 Report Posted September 12, 2022 My guess is the purple is purple cayenne, the thin red ones are arbol, and the chubby red ones are fresno. 1 Quote
