No bananas were harmed in the making of this dish (as technically, they tend to be a garnish/side instead of an ingredient, with curries) as this was a turkey chili.

No cooking involved, but made a gigantic fruit salad to take to the Bedecarre Easter gathering. 

Apples, pears, oranges, grapefruit, mango, cantaloupe, pineapple, grapes, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. Lime juice, lime zest and honey dressing, but this time I grated in some fresh nutmeg. Now in the fridge to meld overnight. 

It was enough to fill a roasting pan, so I hope there are hungry people tomorrow.

To be clear, this was Dorothy's Easter party and there was too much of everything even though they were worried there wouldn't be enough food. The fruit salad is very tasty. And I have a large Tupperware of it in my fridge. 😁

Yes it is.

And it is suitably bitter, rich, orangy and tart. Far superior to store bought, according to my co-marmalade maker
