Buttered oysters with some Parmegianno chesse. Garlic and oil shrimp, Brandy flambé, for not than pyrotechnical reasons. Coconut rice from Chef John.

Here we call "camarão ao alho e óleo", and for some reason none of my American and Canadian Portuguese speaking friends are able to say alho e óleo. Funny stuff.

Tried a new quiche recipe last night, spinach and bacon with swiss.  It was quite good according to 3/4 family members.  Andrew is not a fan of eggs so unsurprisingly he was not a huge fan and just picked out the bacon.   Smart kid.

What we called beef stew growing up, or irish stew. My ex made english beef stew with v8 and other garbage. This is my first time cooking the beef stew of my childhood in the better part of 20 years. My house smells like memories.
