Marinated the steak in olive oil, lime juice, cumin, oregano, smoked paprika, and salt. Was good with peppers, onions, and homemade pineapple mango salsa. Flank steak? Looks really good. n_maher Posted August 5, 2018 Report Posted August 5, 2018 Similar cut, but my friend the butcher calls it a David Earl after his dad. 2
n_maher Posted August 5, 2018 Report Posted August 5, 2018 Post didn't go through this morning. Took leftovers from last night and made breakfast. 4
n_maher Posted August 10, 2018 Report Posted August 10, 2018 No boiling involved... this time. Three minutes each side on the grill, just went into the oven for desired mediumness. 6

Augsburger Posted August 21, 2018 Report Posted August 21, 2018 I am guessing it will take a magnum of Cabernet to wash down that tomahawk ribeye.

Hopstretch Posted August 22, 2018 Report Posted August 22, 2018 That was from the sous vide tomahawk ribeye. (Sorry Greg.) Luckily I have some leftovers to tide me over for tonight's dinner, which we let the kids cater. Carbpocalypse. But they did make it all from scratch themselves -- dough, sauce, custard, frosting etc. -- which is character building I think. 5
