Had leftovers from making chicken fajitas the other night so changed out meat and made steak fajitas tonight.  Marinated the steak in olive oil, lime juice, cumin, oregano, smoked paprika, and salt.  Was good with peppers, onions, and homemade pineapple mango salsa.

Brother Daniel, thou appearest well set upon the path most strait. Shun the brassicas (which afford unto us nought but wind) and let thy repast be but the goodly flesh of beasts and the blood of grapes, and surely shalt thou find thy corporeal reward here upon Earth. I presume not to speak for the hereafter.

Aren't you, like, saying you wanna lose weight? I'm gonna assume a radicchio wedge or 2 and nothing else. (;

That was from the sous vide tomahawk ribeye. (Sorry Greg.)

Luckily I have some leftovers to tide me over for tonight's dinner, which we let the kids cater.

Carbpocalypse. But they did make it all from scratch themselves --  dough, sauce, custard, frosting etc. -- which is character building I think.

Isle Flottante with Caramel and Dark Chocolate Pecan Cookie.

How can you turn this down when your daughter makes it for you? Even though you know you should.

“Dark chocolate pecan cookie “ shall hereafter be referred to as “dookie”
