agile_one Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 That looks awesome, Adrian. Grahame's, Dan's, Al's, all look tasty too.
Dusty Chalk Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Who holds the conch? I volunteer as tribute!
swt61 Posted July 10, 2015 Report Posted July 10, 2015 Yes it does. Dan am I just not able to see the rice, or is there none in there? Also are those clams?
grawk Posted July 10, 2015 Report Posted July 10, 2015 The rice was cooking in the rice cooker, and it was shrimp, squid, octopus, and mussels, plus peppers, onions, tomatoes, and garlic. 2
grawk Posted July 10, 2015 Report Posted July 10, 2015 I enjoyed it. I put tumeric in the rice, and american saffron, thyme, paprika, and parsley in the paella. The kids apparently liked it too, as I didn't have any leftover. 2

swt61 Posted July 11, 2015 Report Posted July 11, 2015 I approve of cooking bacon outside. I also approve of that pan. Oh, and that weight. Hell, I approve of it all!
Grahame Posted July 11, 2015 Report Posted July 11, 2015 Approved. Suggestions for improvement bacon IN the chocolate chip cookies chocolate covered bacon (chip) cookies bacon wrapped chocolate chip cookies. Carry on.
Voltron Posted July 11, 2015 Report Posted July 11, 2015 Those are scones! What kind of Brit are you?
Grahame Posted July 11, 2015 Report Posted July 11, 2015 One who hasn't had his first Tea / Coffee of the morning. 1
Dusty Chalk Posted July 11, 2015 Report Posted July 11, 2015 You know, I usually don't do cookies/pastries/whatnot, but those scones look scrumptious.
mikeymad Posted July 11, 2015 Report Posted July 11, 2015 more bacon and chocolate things needed in this thread.
n_maher Posted July 11, 2015 Report Posted July 11, 2015 Those are actually cinnamon chip scones. Chocolate chip versions get made occasionally but both Maura and I are cinnamon fiends so these are the standard fare when scones are made. Both go well with bacon (but what doesn't?!??!).
