Hi, I currently have a grado rs2i with the little dot 1+. I'm thinking of upgrading the headphones (and the amp if necessary to the little dot mk III). Im looking to spend around 1000

Sennheiser HD800 are very good, though not the bassiest headphones around. Good deep bass though. Sennheiser has a fairly good dealer network in Europe depending on where you live (I hope it isn't Ireland  ). It would be the one dynamic I would own if I was going back to slumming it :)

Well Im used to listing music through grado rs2, I doubt that the sennheiser hd800 has less or the same amount of bass. Ahah, i live in Portugal.

HP-1000s belong in TN, not Portugal.

I like Grados, but I don't really like HD800s for the most part.

I believe Jim mentioned O2s and a BHSE? He's a wise man. If he didn't mention that and I just made it up, imagine I said it, as I, too, am a wise man.

Hope you represent us well :D

I would suggest you going over head-fi or maybe not.. Just search here for headphone impressions.

Good luck!
