I'm in need of a new tone arm cable. I am presently using the stock Van den hul cable on my SME V arm. It's copper but is not as resolving nor as rich as I would prefer. I was thining Cardas Golden Reference or Cross, but they are pretty pricey, as is the more revealing but more linear Hovland and Graham 2.2. Any suggestions?

Another option might be something like the Cardas phono box. This converts a DIN connector to a pair of RCA jacks. After that, you can use any interconnect that you want, rather than a dedicated phono interconnect. (However, I can't remember if the SME arms use the same DIN as other tone arms).

Obviously Siltechs Compass Lake Phono Cable. The worlds best phono cable, and a steal at $10,200 for a 1 meter set. :o:dance::angel:

Unreal... :o

I can't believe people are willing to spend that much on some wire... I guess there's a sucker born everyone minute.
