manaox2 Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 Bring back Rubicon... >> Walking Dead by a mile IMHO Agreed. Quote
deepak Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Walking Dead season 2 has started Quote

manaox2 Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Soap opera with real tension. The characters are steadily losing development and the reactions to previous events seem uneven to me. I hope they save their budget on this somehow, I'd hate to see this causing their great series lose out. Quote
Pars Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 TV series pimper/reviewer on comcast I think thought that the season premier showed some real signs of character development... dunno, only watched part of it. Quote
manaox2 Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 TV series pimper/reviewer on comcast I think thought that the season premier showed some real signs of character development... dunno, only watched part of it. They focused on character development. They failed at thickening up impressions of the characters and came off shallow to me. Quote
jp11801 Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 watched the season 2 opener and is it me or are they significantly less afaid of getting zombie blood on them this season than last? That said it was ok, a bit let down since I loved season 1 Quote
The Monkey Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 watched the season 2 opener and is it me or are they significantly less afaid of getting zombie blood on them this season than last? Missus Monkey and I were talking about the same exact thing. Also, I think they should stop splitting up. Everyone knows bad things happen when you split up. Quote
tyrion Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Zombie blood ftmfw! I liked the opener for season 2 but did notice what you guys noticed about the blood. Quote
deepak Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 There was a distinct lack of zombies in last night's episode I think their budget has been slashed so much (curse you Mad Men) that they're forced to make this more of a drama. Oh well I'll continue to watch since the suspense element was still present in both episodes. I like Mad Men, but to take away money from Breaking Bad and Walking Dead is a bit of a shame. I enjoyed both those shows far more, Mad Men just gets to be too much of the same old same old. Quote
Edwood Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 (edited) Just started watching this series. Did a Season 1 to Season 2 marathon. Finally caught up with Season 3 ep4. I'll have to say I am really impressed with this show. Especially with Season 2 ep 7, just wow. I think this show is a much better take on the post apocalyptic thing that just happens to have zombies. Makes me really dislike Falling Skies now since it really feels like it's trying to copy The Walking Dead but with aliens instead. Edited November 9, 2012 by Edwood Quote
purk Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 Love the show as well. This show really keep me glue to the TV set. Really good stuff. Quote
thrice Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 Just watched season 1 so far... I've got season 2 from iTunes, but I haven't had a chance to watch. I'm thinking of just starting with season 1 again and going straight through everything out there now. Season 1 was definitely impressive. Quote
deepak Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 Haven't seen last night's, but this show can only get better with Lorie dead Quote
Aura Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 I really hope it's a zombie baby. Quote
Edwood Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 Season 3 Finale was OK. Really getting sick of the Jail setting, getting really old. Quote
manaox2 Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 I keep getting my hopes up, just a little less each time. OT, I think Shameless is my favorite show (though vulgar) on TV outside of breaking bad currently. Game of Thrones close third. Quote
morphsci Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 Killing off Lori and Andrea was a step in the right direction. Quote
Voltron Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 Funny part is that on Tapatalk the preview of this post in "Latest" view reads: "Spoiler Killing off..." Doesn't bother me because I already watched the season, but it is funny. Quote
emelius Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 losing hope that they'll kill off Carl... in fact, the show now seems to be based on him... Quote
deepak Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 losing hope that they'll kill off Carl... in fact, the show now seems to be based on him... Carl becomes the new governor of the prison I guess you could call him the warden, yuk yuk Quote
