The Equalizer Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 I have a pair of Stax SR Omega headphones (serial number 00199). These are still the best headphones I have ever heard. This is an old set which has stood the test of time. I continue to use them as a reference during my mixes. The head bow broke in two places near the top and middle. From a factory authorized repair shop I purchased the last head bow they had two years ago. They came from another model. I need to find a suitable replacement. I am not afraid to make modifications to the support system. Any Ideas?
padam Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 EIFL Japan is your best bet. But if the hinges are intact you might be able to use the rest of the arc assembly from a vintage Lambda.
spritzer Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 Yup, buy a SR-Lambda Signature and use it's arc assembly. Same exact part as is used on the Omega.
BoilermakerFan Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 I have parts... Contact me via PM and I'll get you taken care of. Far less than the alternatives...
