Duggeh Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 I bet they'll sound like all other (sane) closed headphones and thus I won't like them.
Dusty Chalk Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 (edited) Partnership with Zound Industries, I'm finding a lot of information about looks, but very little about technical details...which does not bode well. Also, if it's anything like a Marshall amp, it will distort like crazy, but I will still want one. Also, interesting setup -- looks "boxy", like an ortho. EDIT: Also, black: Edited October 26, 2010 by Dusty Chalk
aardvark baguette Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 astronomically high THD for that famous marshall sound
Dusty Chalk Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 No, it's not just epic THD, it's the choice of even and odd harmonics, methinks...probably even that is an oversimplification (believe me, I've played with a variety of distortions -- one of the good things about the Alesis Quadraverb GT is that it has several different kinds of analog distortion, which all sound different...and no, I have yet to hear a digital plugin that sounds anything as good as a good analog distortion).
The Monkey Posted October 26, 2010 Author Report Posted October 26, 2010 Looks like a coiled cord. blech.
justin Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 Looks like a coiled cord. blech. the inductance removes high frequency sibiliance. +$300 feature
diebenkorn Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 I will only get them if they go to 11.
Pars Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 Why don't they come with a Marshall double-stack stand?
Smeggy Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 I'll wait for the white, iMarshall version.
Ben Gramain Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 Why don't they come with a Marshall double-stack stand? I presume that would be the forthcoming backpack accessory.
The Monkey Posted November 29, 2010 Author Report Posted November 29, 2010 Partnership with Zound Industries, I'm finding a lot of information about looks, but very little about technical details...which does not bode well. Total fail. It appears that the Contact Info is direct to Zound. So lame.
