Asr
Really? Oh well. We still have Andy, Birgir, and Elephas to give us impression of the SR009 on their BHSE/T2 rig. CanJam@RMAF '11. Be there. You like speakers too, right?
spritzer
Guess I was bang on the money WRT to the MSRP. I have already had a set reserved for me so I better get cracking on the T2. As for the MSRP, there is virtually no inflation in Japan so prices remain pretty much static for years. The SR-Omega was 180KYen back in 1993 and the same can be said about the SR-007. It wasn't until the A was released that the price increased a bit. Now street prices are a different matter and since the SR-009 is likely to be in short supply for a while at least so prices should be close to the MSRP for a while at least. Craig Sawyers
Well it make sense and it has been awhile since his last headphones related purchase. Also, anyone with BHSE & T2 is the prime candidate to try out the 009. I've got a BH (not SE) and a T2. Anyone want to buy me a pair of SR009's so I can tell you what they sound like? catscratch
I'm getting it, though probably not right away. Should have saved up for a bit instead of messing with this DSLR tomfoolery. Still 5D Mk2/24-105L is so nice.

padam
In Thailand they did make a group buy on it but it is unknown how much discount they managed to squeeze (but it was less than 4000$).
screaming oranges
I'd be in for a group buy.
monsieurguzel
Heck, I'd be in for a group buy too. Plus it would help the confusion of having to buy something and importing it from Japan.
