guzziguy Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 I ordered 2 lbs just because you guys all love it. I've never tasted it and want to remedy that situation.
deepak Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 Da'oh I already have 1.5 bags, ordered another two anyway. Do you guys just store it at room temperature in Seth's packaging? Mysore is my second favorite that OBR stocks.
deepak Posted July 27, 2013 Report Posted July 27, 2013 I've been using a manual poor over the last couple of weeks. I'm preferring it to the Aero, even though it's a much bigger pain in the ass to use and takes roughly 10 minutes once you factor in grind time. So I'm considering a Technivorm 741 now
deepak Posted July 27, 2013 Report Posted July 27, 2013 Which 741 pak? KBT, one that has been around forever and has lots of replacement parts available.
shellylh Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 Speaking of Mysore, I didn't think it was as good as when I had it in the past. Did anyone feel the same? I am wondering whether to order again.

I am wondering whether to order again. Same here Shelley, I ordered 2 lbs. today from OBR but passed on the Mysore. It wasn't bad but it was unremarkable.

n_maher Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 I haven't even gotten to try any of mine yet.
grawk Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 I enjoyed mine, and ordered more. It was just in time, I was down to 2 days worth.
raffy Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 I kinda misread your post Shelley. I've only ordered Mysore once (a few weeks ago) and it was bitter and flat as Deepak found it too. I haven't had a "good" batch as this was the only batch I've had.
Edwood Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Thanks to Al, my new coffee obsession is Snowy Plover. I need to stock up on Pellegrino.
dreamwhisper Posted February 12, 2015 Report Posted February 12, 2015 These are my favorite, you can order them online. I've had great experiences with the Mudshark in an Espresso machine, it's very responsive to changing grind size if you have a grinder that can do that. Dan, is that what you have in your second picture?
grawk Posted February 12, 2015 Report Posted February 12, 2015 the first picture is green coffee from india, the 2nd is my roaster, roasting some of said green coffee.
Emooze Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 For those interested, Bean Box does subscription to some of Seattle's local roasters: https://beanbox.co/ I've been getting it for a few months now and just about everything I have gotten was not just tasty, but dang fresh. Usually only a few days after the roast date it arrived on my doorstep (Seattle to Ohio). I may have a one coupon code for 15% off for those interested.
n_maher Posted December 1, 2015 Report Posted December 1, 2015 24HR sale at Old Bisbee - $5 off any order of 2 pounds or more with the code HOLIDAYS.
Salt Peanuts Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 Bought myself a FreshRoast SR500. Hopefully, I don't ruin too much beans before I get the hang of roasting them. 1
