Absorbine_Sr
Nice choices both of you. Thanks to today's shopping/orders there will be plenty of Bluecoat and Fever Tree tonic available.
morphsci
We should have a bit of Sazerac 18 and Maisson Surenne also.

Aura
as long as there is a plumbing supply store nearby, there will be enough to drink. i know of many draino cocktails. I think we'll be ok without the draino.
Absorbine_Sr
I think we'll be ok without the draino. Jacob gets to demo the Draino stuff. Does that call for a seltzer or a tonic? By the way, Popaskull and Alpha Klaus are being added to the beer inventory.
Aura
Lol. Awesome Mike, looking forward to the Popaskull and will dare at least one swig of the Alpha Klaus O_o.
morphsci
Note to self: Politely decline any drink Jacob has mixed.

Aimless1
Reservations made for Saturday night. I looked at that drive and can't believe Mike made two day trips to Grand Rapids.
morphsci
FYI the Holiday Inn Express is no longer a Holiday Inn Express so do not try to make an online reservation.
Aimless1
Saw that and chose the Best Western.
Absorbine_Sr
FYI the Holiday Inn Express is no longer a Holiday Inn Express so do not try to make an online reservation. Did not know that Jim. All the signage still says HIE.
morphsci
Yeah I tried to do an online registration and it would not work so I called them up and that is when they told me that they are no longer a HIE. At the present they are not affiliated with anyone. Still made a reservation with them anyway since it doesn't really matter to me. Just wanted to give people a heads up concerning the web based reservations.
kevin gilmore
There was one bottle of the Don Julio Tequilla in all of chicago, and i ordered it, just went to pick it up and it was damaged and they would not sell it to me. I was told to stay away from the other 2 high priced versions which were evidently based more on the name than anything else. But this spoke to me, so i bought it instead. Binny's Beverage Depot - Wine, Spirits & Beer Since 1947 - Product Detail there was only one bottle of this in all of chicago too... The scotch collection had very little that seemed interesting... May drive to the algonquin store to see what else they have. If there is any reason, i can bring an insulated bucket of dry ice... jvlgato
Maybe it's just me, but that Binny's link goes to their general mobile site, not any particular product. Edit: now it's working, maybe a temporary outage. Looks interesting!

Aura
Patience young Jedi. The Floyd will soon be with you. And much more. Is it bad that I've been more excited for this than I was for Thanksgiving? Also, just picked up a pint each of Lost Abbey's Gift of the Magi Ale and Lost and Found Ale for Saturday. I bought a 4 pack of La Fin Du Monde to get me prepared.

guzziguy
No problem. Maybe that should be my new job. I could work from home as a "Guilt Alleviator". The price depends on the cause of the guilt and ease of alleviation.
