Dusty Chalk Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 i was thinking REALLY SLOW BOAT. As in one guy in a rowboat. what do 1000 of those weigh... about 300 lbs??It's all about displacement -- all you need is a big enough rowboat.
n_maher Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 Dare I ask how many you are required to order?
justin Posted August 6, 2010 Author Report Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) 5,000 was the minimum when i first asked about these 2 years ago. 50,000 if I wanted them to shorten the thread length now they agreed to 1,000 at a higher price but i am probably going to get 2,000 in the future i'll use these on the BHSE, but i will have to shorten the threads on a couple feet, the local machine shop will do that. they will probably charge $0.50 per piece to do that. so if anyone wants it cut short i can do it Edited August 6, 2010 by justin

luvdunhill Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 but still 36mm diameter length? how long until they can get shortened?
justin Posted September 20, 2010 Author Report Posted September 20, 2010 the threads are actually only 3/4" long. so with a 1/8" panel, and 1/4" for a nut, there's 3/8" of extra thread. i am going to try to not have to cut them
wink Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Let me know what my bill is and I'll paypal you as soon as possible.
MASantos Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Justin could you include some 5/16"-18 nuts and spacers with my order? It'll be impossible to find these locally.
spritzer Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Yeah, I'd be in for some of that as well.

morphsci Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 (edited) starting zip code? 22903. So priority to my zip is $5.95 unless 16 will fit in a small flat-rate box which is $4.95. Funds sent. Edited September 22, 2010 by morphsci
luvdunhill Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 I'm assuming we send the "online price", so the same number as Jim is $7.41 to my zip
