Vlad and I had talked about it but I don't think we are anymore. There is a pro bike race in Reston that I'm planning to go to tomorrow and then I'm doing a metric century on Sunday (hopefully).

Some very interesting looking speaker companies there. The Fibonacci ribbons specifically are intriguing, anyone know anything about them?

The Fibonacci's stole the show for me. It's a single ribbon, acoustic suspension, so they had them practically flat up against the wall, and I was hearing zero combing. No bloom (Salk), no bizarre etch-y like thing that wasn't etch (MBL, but I suspect it was room placement -- about 6 feet from a stone fireplace -- will probably visit United Audio for another demo, they were otherwise very good), not shouty...just...everything right. Wish they went lower than 80 Hz, he said it wasn't a gradual roll-off, but almost a brick-wall. Surround configuration, but I forgot to bring any of my own music. :palm: Intended to be in-wall.

Never got to listen to the Berkeley Audio Design.
