chuke Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 This forum looks like the real deal. If I read another "FWIR" or "after 175 hours of burn-in" on HF, I'm going to vomit - not literally, but you get my drift. Yeah, pointless thread.... just venting. I like headphones. I have money so I can buy them. I'm interested in finding out more about electrostatics and the holy grail of headphone sound. I've bought and sold thousands of dollars worth of speakers, amps, dacs, and gadgets in the pursuit of perfect, affordable sound. I think I'm getting closer with headphones, but the journey has been trying with some questionable info/advice from HF. I enjoy the honesty here.
Knuckledragger Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 Welcome. Please (re)read the new user PM, and watch out for the shovels.

909 Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 (edited) I enjoy the honesty here. threads like this are just some of what's not right over there... assimilate here or thank you for your attention, i hope you enjoy your time here. Edited May 3, 2010 by 909
Fitz Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 It's the Head-Case welcome wagon in full force. I love you guys.
mypasswordis Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 Hi chuke, so how are things? How are you getting along here? Learned the rules yet? Oh never mind........................... Stewie, is that you?
MASantos Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 Dear "I'm sick of head-fi", read the welcome pm again and avoid the shovels an banhammer!
Asr Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 Using your first post to complain about Head-Fi is probably not the best way to go about things.
chuke Posted May 4, 2010 Author Report Posted May 4, 2010 "I don't know, I was really drunk at the time." Lesson learned...
Augsburger Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 Well now drunk posting is a move in the right direction. Nonetheless the other rules must be obeyed otherwise you will be as welcome as a leper in a group hug sensitivity session.
Dusty Chalk Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 Yeah, and rule #...two, is it?...is let us know what you're drinking.
postjack Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 Yeah, and rule #...two, is it?...is let us know what you're drinking. nah, the second rule of head-case is the findings of the State Recognized Qualified Technician and his x-ray machine cannot reasonably be disputed. you must be thinking of rule #3. damn this place and its rules!!
swt61 Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 I thought rule #2 was always verbalize a warning before ejaculating? Oops, sorry, wrong forum... never mind.

Then what number is the rule against perpetuities?
mypasswordis Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 I thought rule #2 was always verbalize a warning before ejaculating? Oops, sorry, wrong forum... never mind. You know, my crazy and perverse mind immediately thought of what you said in a kendo scenario and I lol'd. Anyone who knows about kendo knows what I'm talking about (you have to shout where you intend to hit the opponent while you hit). Kendojaculation matches, best out of three.

What's wrong with you, boy?
Voltron Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 Oh, with the silent/invisible The! Thanks for clearing that up because I knew you would never slip up on who/whom usage.
