MexicanDragon Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 Congrats on being able to whip up your own walking-stick! Happy birthday, and all that jazz... **BRENT**
Knuckledragger Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 The message you have entered is too short. Don't worry Steve, we'll all believe that you're 49 next year too, because we don't know what year you were born.
naamanf Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 Happy Birthday! Two more days and you would have been swimming with the fishes.
Hopstretch Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 Happy Birthday, o ye of ample wood!
guzziguy Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 Happy Birthday Steve! :prettyprincess: I hope that you got to demonstrate your Ticeness to the nice lady cop.
swt61 Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Thanks guys! I'm afraid my age is indeed catching up with me though, as I over did it a bit Wednesday with the demo of some old decks, and I've been bed bound with a strained back since. It's not actually a back injury, just very tight muscles in my lower back area from lifting beams and ledgers that were too heavy. That and trying to keep up with the younger guys on my crew that are pretty gung ho. This is the first time I've experienced any kind of back problem whatsoever, and the timing with my 49th Birthday has me feeling very mortal. This is life's way of telling me that it's time to delegate more.
Pars Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Happy Birthday... ehhh, back. Take it easy... I know how you feel. I've never really had back problems, but made the mistake of moving a grand piano when we were re-carpeting. Wound up getting lower back spasms for a couple of days (which really sucked), but they went away. Best of luck getting rid of yours.
mypasswordis Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Wishing you a quick recovery! And I think it is a good idea to take heed of your mortality (which is true of anyone at any age) and take care of yourself as best you can.
guzziguy Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Remember Steve, you're the brains of the outfit.
