Eric5676 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 So Monkey are you way off in audio heavenly bliss now or what?
swt61 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Dinny can you link me to more info on this bridge thing? I'm not sure what it is, but I'd like to read about it.
tyrion Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 They discuss it here: PS Audio - PerfectWave DAC : More Info
swt61 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Thanks Mike, that's pretty sweet. A computer, PWD and a pair of Quad 12L actives would be a pretty awesome office rig!
spritzer Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 Sure does plus PRP's and Nichi ES's...
shellylh Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 A computer, PWD and a pair of Quad 12L actives would be a pretty awesome office rig! Computer - check PWD - X pair of Quad 12L - X I am 1/3 of the way there.... hmm

Dusty Chalk Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 You two need to board the QTLfOHOHWBWERT (Quad 12L for office/home-office/home-workbench/whatever rig Train).
The Monkey Posted February 6, 2010 Author Report Posted February 6, 2010 I want to shoot some internals, but I'm a) afraid to open it up and I don't know how to open the damn thing.
deepak Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 I want to shoot some internals, but I'm a) afraid to open it up and I don't know how to open the damn thing. Look to your avatar for strength and guidance
n_maher Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Obviously. It is a glorious train, I continue to be amazed by just how good the 12L's are.
swt61 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 A train doesn't sound bad either! As long as I get to be the caboose that is.
Knuckledragger Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 The message you have entered is too short. Maybe you should look at my sig.
digger945 Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 A little more info aboot the dac chip/network bridge, and some pics. 6moons audio reviews: PS Audio PerfectWave Transport & DAC I found the explanation/history of how CD works to be quite interesting.
Eric5676 Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Monkey: When are we going to see some pretty "check out my hot new gear!" pics and such?
Dreadhead Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 A little more info aboot the dac chip/network bridge, and some pics. 6moons audio reviews: PS Audio PerfectWave Transport & DAC I found the explanation/history of how CD works to be quite interesting. The lost me at RedBook=Analogue not Digital. As usual Six Moons is full of shit.
The Monkey Posted February 7, 2010 Author Report Posted February 7, 2010 The lost me at RedBook=Analogue not Digital. As usual Six Moons is full of shit. I couldn't agree more. That review, like most others at that site, really doesn't say anything. Reminds me of sitting through an hour-long PowerPoint presentation by a consultant.
Eric5676 Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 The lost me at RedBook=Analogue not Digital. As usual Six Moons is full of shit. Agreed. Pretty hit and miss site for me as well. Sometimes I've seen some reviews that were alright but this is an example where I just scratched my head and, like you, checked out on that same statement.
veloaudio Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 The lost me at RedBook=Analogue not Digital. As usual Six Moons is full of shit. x2 I only look at Six Moons for the pictures.
