Hopstretch Posted July 4, 2017 Report Posted July 4, 2017 Sorry. This is my conspicuous consumption period after years in furnished corporate rentals. It'll settle down. 3 Quote

Sherwood Posted July 15, 2017 Report Posted July 15, 2017 (edited) I bought an HC-approved car three years ago (MKVI GTI) and have not regretted it for a moment. Just sprung for an HC-approved TV (55" C6) and absolutely love it. I know the B6 is far more popular, but I dig the curve and it suits my space well. Thanks for the great advice again, hive mind. We are all terribly flawed as individuals, but as a group we are perfect. Also, side note, I live in Virginia again. Edited July 15, 2017 by Sherwood 11 Quote

n_maher Posted July 15, 2017 Report Posted July 15, 2017 Welcome back stateside and congrats on the fantastic TV. I wish the budget would have supported OLED but it's not to be for a year or three. And I don't know that we're quite terribly flawed as individuals. Flawed to be sure, but this is a pretty great bunch overall donchathink? I try to explain d-_-b to folks from time to time and honestly, this group pretty much defies description. 1 Quote

VPI Posted July 16, 2017 Report Posted July 16, 2017 You need to black out those pesky windows. One cannot have reflections undermining overall screen resolution. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3 Quote
Hopstretch Posted July 16, 2017 Report Posted July 16, 2017 Blinds are on order. The kids already worked out how to find YouTube on it, so I'll probably never get to use anyway. 3 Quote

Voltron Posted August 7, 2017 Report Posted August 7, 2017 Is my beloved but also very aged Pioneer plasma dead? Vertical lines and extra green tint appear on all inputs. I checked and unplugged / replugged all connections. Here is what it looks like: Quote
EdipisReks1 Posted August 7, 2017 Report Posted August 7, 2017 Well, it's not a good sign. It's probably reparable. Quote
Voltron Posted August 8, 2017 Report Posted August 8, 2017 (edited) Strangest thing. After spending thirty minutes screwing around and resetting to factory settings and then posting, the screen clicked and is back to a beautiful picture. Wishes do come true. Edited August 8, 2017 by Voltron 1 Quote
