spritzer Posted January 7, 2018 Report Posted January 7, 2018 Ahhh when it doubt throw a bunch of money at mediocrity and claim it is better. Yup, the sound HF plan.
wink Posted January 8, 2018 Report Posted January 8, 2018 Yep, he bought a HE-1, and yet excessively quibbled about the cost of getting a Stax SR-009 and KG designed amp saying that you didn't need that level of performance at the price. This draws the obvious conclusion that he gets his lesser level of performsnce at a far greater price.. The logic is truly revelational.........
SeaWolf Posted January 8, 2018 Report Posted January 8, 2018 Clearly there is not though marble in any KG amp. to justify the high prices. I think the bang for the buck lies unquestionably with the HE1
Tinkerer Posted January 8, 2018 Report Posted January 8, 2018 A good monument company would make a nice marble case for anybody for under a thousand bucks or two anyhow. You could even do most of the fine casework like mounts yourself with regular drill bits as it only has a hardness of 3'ish. That would sure make a pretty DIY T2 or similar.
spritzer Posted January 8, 2018 Report Posted January 8, 2018 Yeah no matter than the marble would be pretty shit for this use but lets loose all common sense and dew eet!!!! 1

But then again, his vids gather rather bad score, so yeah...
wink Posted January 9, 2018 Report Posted January 9, 2018 Perhaps, he's lost his marbles..............................

ktm Posted January 11, 2018 Report Posted January 11, 2018 I thought the set on ebay with the cables hand braided were bad. But this takes it to another level. 1 3
guzziguy Posted January 11, 2018 Report Posted January 11, 2018 (edited) Along with muff'led sound. Edited January 11, 2018 by guzziguy 1
guzziguy Posted January 11, 2018 Report Posted January 11, 2018 C'mon Birgir. Aren't those the perfect earphones for those cold Icelandic nights?
spritzer Posted January 11, 2018 Report Posted January 11, 2018 Might just be but why would you want to be outside? Our houses are never cold...cheap hot water FTW!! 1
wink Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 Just the thing for musical polar bears and penguins.
ktm Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 Here's another winner from the bay. Seller claims a friend braided it for him without re-terminating the cable. Sure he did 1
spritzer Posted January 12, 2018 Report Posted January 12, 2018 I want what ever these people are taking...
kevin gilmore Posted January 13, 2018 Report Posted January 13, 2018 that has to at least double the capacitance of the cable. probably more because the bias wire is no longer shielding the stator wires. stupid fucks.
catscratch Posted January 13, 2018 Report Posted January 13, 2018 I can get behind fur earpads on electrostats, but only if they also remove the dust covers for maximum sound clarity.
SeaWolf Posted January 13, 2018 Report Posted January 13, 2018 Can I get those in Tiger print? The ones shown are not quite my jam.
