JoaMat Posted January 27, 2022 Report Posted January 27, 2022 That’s what makes this hobby so interesting. You need an open mind and a good nose to find replacements…
Pars Posted January 28, 2022 Report Posted January 28, 2022 Also had a notice today regarding onsemi FQP3N30 being EOL. Don't think they are used in anything here, but are used over on diyaudio for the HPA1 and for one of Salas's shunts or buffers.
MLA Posted February 4, 2022 Report Posted February 4, 2022 (edited) The C2M1000170D are in stock again at DigiKey. Grab 'em while they're hot. https://www.digikey.se/sv/products/detail/wolfspeed-inc/C2M1000170D/4399776 Edited February 4, 2022 by MLA 2
ibuski Posted February 7, 2022 Report Posted February 7, 2022 Farnell now has some stock of IXCY 10m90s. Note not IXCP, they are SMD. https://export.farnell.com/ixys-semiconductor/ixcy10m90s/current-regulator-900v-0-009a/dp/3438367 They have DN2540N5-G of course back order, but their expected delivery date is April, earlier than Mouser's "November"? Is this reliable???
Pars Posted February 7, 2022 Report Posted February 7, 2022 Been looking for something like these, but can never seem to find them on Mouser or Digikey. Something like the splice terminals used just below the transformer in this picture:
Beefy Posted February 7, 2022 Report Posted February 7, 2022 Euro style terminal blocks! I use them a lot. Last I ordered was this one: https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/detail/molex/0391002012/4988597 1

sbelyo Posted March 7, 2022 Report Posted March 7, 2022 Anybody ever order from this place. https://www.win-source.net/ ? Looks like they're in HK. Hopefully the stuff is real
15lyl Posted March 8, 2022 Report Posted March 8, 2022 They are in China. 86 is China, Hong Kong is 852.
sbelyo Posted March 8, 2022 Report Posted March 8, 2022 I read the reviews and it seems like it's not their stock. They place orders at market price. Some good reviews, some bad.
Kerry Posted April 30, 2022 Report Posted April 30, 2022 I'm looking for this type of panel bearing for a 6mm shaft: 1705 Keystone Electronics | Mouser Thanks
MLA Posted April 30, 2022 Report Posted April 30, 2022 Probably not what you need, but they are 6mm: https://www.mcmaster.com/panel-bearings/
Kerry Posted May 1, 2022 Report Posted May 1, 2022 Thanks. I saw those and they won't do for what I need.

Kerry Posted May 3, 2022 Report Posted May 3, 2022 That might be possible, but not optimal for me. I might just have them made.

I have purchased 2sk216 and 2sj79 from spritzer for a mostly modern t2 build. The prices might not be cheap compared to the price of the transistors when still in manufacture but they are now increasingly rare and the market is flooded with fakes. You are getting genuine parts if you buy from Spritzer - unlike pretty much every seller on ebay which are selling fakes and ebay does not give a care. Edited May 21, 2022 by jamesmking

Is it better to contact him by the email from his website?

I just sent him a private message on this forum. I told him that I wanted them for a mostly modern T2 build and that I just needed a few - enough to build one amp and a set of spares in case the build went wrong, and was not going to resell them for scalper prices on ebay....I suspect he might be less inclined to supply if the intent was to resell - especially for a profit. 1

I think you might be correct, mouser has it as end of life, but on semi does not and none of the other usual suppliers do. Hopefully mouser is wrong. So hopefully it is not EOL..
