xand1x Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Well it's official! After two great AFC and NFC championship games we have the Saints and the Colts going to the superbowl. The saints/vikings game was one of the best i've seen in awhile. Hoping Drew Brees can bring it home this year Quote
postjack Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 so happy to see the Saints win. I'm no pro ball fan, but I love anything having to do with New Orleans. Quote
Aura Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Yeah go Saints I guess. Wish the Eagles could've pulled a cinderella playoff run but oh well. Quote
riceboy Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I am pulling for the Saints as well. Two high powered offenses would be great too watch. The Saints/Minnesota game was a fantastic game to watch today. Quote
randerson3024 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Well, being an OU fan, I must revel in the success of Garrett Hartley's flield goal - Go Sooners! Quote
aardvark baguette Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Not really into football much, but I guess I'll route for the saints on account of Katrina. Quote
ecclesand Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I'm happy the Saints made it in too...even if it was on Minnesota's turnovers. Of course, you know this means that Favre will come back next year. Quote
grawk Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I've lived in new orleans, and never lived in indiana, so go saints Quote
aardvark baguette Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I just realized that new orleans has a bit richer jazz heritage than indiana too. Quote
morphsci Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Go Colts! (Actually I would be happy regardless of the outcome but I like being contrary). Quote
Hopstretch Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I would root for Al Qaeda against the fucking Colts. Quote
MoonShine Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Lifelong Vikings fan so used to disappointment. Watched them lose 4 Super Bowls in the 70's. Oh well. Became a fan of Favre this year. Never thought that would happen. Somehow fitting that his last pass (if it really was his last pass) was an interception. Hope the Saints womp ass on the fkn Colts. Quote
randerson3024 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Is it just me, or is it like watching business when they play? Not as if there isn't talent, but it just doesn't seem fun. Quote

I think they mentioned on Sportscenter that his "other last pass" for GB was also an INT. Quote
Aimless1 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 The NFC game was a classic. One of the best (if not best) playoff games I've watched. I really don't care who wins the Super Bowl and would be happy with either team. Peyton's father's team (Archie Manning was THE Saints quarterback) vs Peyton's team. Sentimental favorite is New Orleans (Katrina sympathy/Bourbon St fun/memories of Archie), but I believe the Colts will win this one. Quote
shellylh Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I just realized that new orleans has a bit richer jazz heritage than indiana too. Just a bit. Quote
morphsci Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I would root for Al Qaeda against the fucking Colts. That's the way I feel about the Patriots. Quote
MoonShine Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 That's the way I feel about the Patriots. Cowboys for me. Last weeks dawg wuppin was most gratifying. Quote
