Salt Peanuts
x3. It's nice to have search functions for "thread started by" back again.
Pars
Not sure if this has been brought up, but the little attachment and deleted posts icons are covering up the last page icon on some threads when I do "New posts". Makes it a pita to try to get to the last page. This happens on both my Mac and my windoze box at work, both on firefox.
tkam
i'm not seeing that at all, what resolution are you running at? also even if the last page icon is covered up there's always the last post icon....
GPH
The "New Posts" page layout is messed up on my Touch, anybody else getting that?

I've gotten that on two computers now using firefox with the screen size set at 1024x768.
tkam
ah i don't use resolutions anywhere near that low, again though is it really that hard to click on the last post button and then scroll up to the top of the page? manaox2
ah i don't use resolutions anywhere near that low, again though is it really that hard to click on the last post button and then scroll up to the top of the page? No, I have dealt with it since Saturday that way, didn't care enough to complain or anything. Though, it is going to be a popular resolutions for a while now and is annoying to have buttons on top of buttons breaking the function. Its going to be more annoying on the iPad 1024x768 touchscreen.
Pars
I've gotten that on two computers now using firefox with the screen size set at 1024x768. Same, though my mac at home may be 1280x1024. Last post button... oh. Just a question though... what is the usefulness of an attachments icon and a deleted posts icon? Knuckledragger
There's something odd about how multiple URLS from the 'Gon are handled. Bat Balanced Audio vk-52se preamp For Sale | AudiogoN Marantz Model 1 For Sale | AudiogoN Audio Research SP3A-1 For Sale | AudiogoN I'm entering this post via quick reply, vs "go advanced." Edit: ....aaand it parsed all the URLs just fine. I can't currently duplicate the bug, I've seen it repeatedly when other users post multiple Audiogon links (usually in the For Sale Elsewhere thread). Same with me on my laptop (1024x768), but i just used adblock to block the little attachment icon.
Salt Peanuts
Anyone having issues with vertical scrolling speed? I'm using Firefox on an old iMac (first iMac with C2D) and vertical scrolling speed has been rather sluggish. I suspect this may be an issue on my end since I'm not having any issues with it on my MacBook or my work computer, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Knuckledragger
Here is an example of the Audiogon URL bug.
deepak
Here is an example of the Audiogon URL bug. You can hover over the link to see what the item is without clicking on it. This isn't a bug particular to VB4, the old software did it as well.
The Monkey
Am I the only one who can't figure out how to use the damn search function?
Salt Peanuts
Am I the only one who can't figure out how to use the damn search function? What do you mean? It seems to be working fine for me after the recent update, though I miss the mini preview of each post it (search result) used to give. It seems to be working fine for me after the recent update, though I miss the mini preview of each post it (search result) used to give. It kind of makes searching by posts impossible

Salt Peanuts
I know it's not quite the same, but if you mouseover a search result, it'll show you the post.
grawk
You can search for individual posts, it's just different than before. Select "single content type", then scroll down and set the options you want.
n_maher
It'd be nice if we could get the in-thread search features back working, but it's nice to know that there's at least a way to search for individual posts by Forum.
grawk
In thread search works for me, you just have to hover over the link to get the contents of each post
n_maher
In thread search works for me, you just have to hover over the link to get the contents of each post I'm still talking about trying to get it to isolate posts by a specific user in a given thread, I can't get that to work like it used to.
