n_maher Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Now all you Talatalk guys need to do is remove the stupid auto-sig line from the bottom of your replies. Quote
Hopstretch Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Amen. It's in the main Settings menu on your iPhone. Choose Tapatalk and toggle "Show Signature" to off. Quote
GPH Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 One small thing that's been bugging me: When you click on "New Posts", the menu with "New Posts", "Private Messages, etc. is replaced by another irrelevant menu so I have to go back to the previous page if I want to access the "Quick Links" menu to go to "Subscribed Threads". In the old layout, the menu with "User CP", "Members", etc. always stayed on top. Quote

GPH Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Didn't know that, thanks! Problem solved. Quote
tkam Posted January 26, 2010 Author Report Posted January 26, 2010 (edited) no i did a rebuild of the post counts, it's weird how it works but it pretty much guarantees lower post costs for everyone. i did it to clear up a couple other strange issues. Edited January 26, 2010 by tkam Quote
Aimless1 Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 My posts all seem to have a vertical picture rather than a horizontal. Looked for a setting but didn't recognize anything that would affect the way in which the post appears. Assuming it is a choice, how do I choose? Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 not that i particularly care, but i some time since yesterday i lost 5k posts off my post count, and it might be because of an issue affecting other things. They attributed your posts to Ari. Quote
mypasswordis Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Is there any way to fix the issue of some posts getting word wrapped too far in? Sent from someone's Dell using Firefox Quote

penger Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 Couple questions. Is there a way to collapse the "What's going on" section like the "Forum stats" block? I think we used to be able to do this on the old version. And is there a way to only reload the "Forum stats" block like the old version? Thanks for all the hard work by the way. Quote
sschell Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 When quoting posts with large pictures embedded, the quote "speech bubble" only wraps out to the longest line, leaving the ends of the pictures sticking out (See the DFW meet impressions thread). Quote
veloaudio Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 Just noticed that pictures uploaded to Head-case are opening in a new browser window as a thumbnail and as a "floating" window. Anyone else getting this too? Quote
CarlSeibert Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 Me too. If I close thew new window with the thumbnail in it, I get the floating window. Quote
thrice Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 I don't know if this was a previous feature, but there is now an option to "Download This Thread" under the Thread options menu... it downloads a text file of the complete thread... pretty useful. Quote
tkam Posted January 27, 2010 Author Report Posted January 27, 2010 Yep that's one of the plugins that I waited for the be ported over to the new version before doing the upgrade. It's very useful if you want to have a simple version of a thread for off-line use. Quote
tkam Posted January 28, 2010 Author Report Posted January 28, 2010 FYI new maintenance release of vB4 coming next Thursday, it *should* fix several of the bugs mentioned in this thread. Quote
n_maher Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 A comment more than a bug, the new picture upload interface for the albums is amazingly confusing. Quote
Salt Peanuts Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Did the post count go weird again or am I going crazy? Quote
