Augsburger Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Tact digital amplifiers and preamplifiers Calling Sammich...........
aardvark baguette Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Thats some slick stuff. A little over my head, but slick. It sounds like some of their amps have their own built in dacs.

All of them should since as far as I know they use digital correction for everything so each channel is an ADC the DAC anyway.
Augsburger Posted December 31, 2009 Author Report Posted December 31, 2009 Meridian uses a similar technology with their DSP5500s and newer DSP8000s. Personal preferences aside whether the music can seem too precise and sterile at times but the technology is slick and music is enjoyable.
aardvark baguette Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 I figure some of it could just be some sort of time delay. I dont know how that works but I assume they could do it with an analog signal somehow. (but really i have no idea)
morphsci Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 Yep, all of their amps are digital only. They have an analog connection board which is an ADC unit. The S2150 is a damn good amp, just ask Aura.
