guzziguy Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Stacy and I will come Thursday and leave Monday morning. Looking forward to seeing what you have, Doug.
Duggeh Posted November 20, 2009 Author Report Posted November 20, 2009 And I look forward to seeing you again dear chap.
Spiug31 Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 I'm not likely to be able, but look forward to the vicarious attending
Wmcmanus Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 I'll be there with rings on my fingers and bells on my toes. You can call me Sweet Gypsy Rose, because I'll go anywhere CanJam goes. Seriously one of my favorite weekends of the year, even if I don't listen to any music at all. There are just so many people to meet and old friends to catch up with, I wouldn't ever miss it unless I absolutely had to.
Dusty Chalk Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 part of why I'm driving is to spend time with friends along the way and back, so I was probably going to make a week trip out of it...Nevermind, then.
boomana Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 I plan on being there, probably Thurs through Sun.
Aura Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 I'll show up however early Jim needs me to, and will stay to Sunday or maybe Monday.
purk Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 I might try to go as well. Let's see if I can make a deal with my wife to go.
spritzer Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 With no direct flights from here to Chicago I'll have to fly through NY. I'll probably spend some time there before and after the meet but spending Thursday through Monday in Chicago sounds like a plan.
rlanger Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 Haven't been to CanJam since it was Head Fest in San Jose, and I've never been to Chicago so I'm definitely going to do my best to make it to this one.
zippy2001 Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 I'm planning on attending, but don't know the schedule yet. My wife wants to go, but the kids are still in school. I'll have to work something out.
mypasswordis Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 I'm planning on attending, but don't know the schedule yet. This. But I am the kid, and am still in school. Not his kid.
naamanf Posted November 23, 2009 Report Posted November 23, 2009 There is a good chance I might be able to make it. Originally I was supposed to be in the sand box but things are changing everyday. Have my fingers crossed.
Pars Posted November 23, 2009 Report Posted November 23, 2009 THat would be great naaman. Would love to meet you.
CarlSeibert Posted November 23, 2009 Report Posted November 23, 2009 I'll go if I can, depending on work.
Iron_Dreamer Posted November 23, 2009 Report Posted November 23, 2009 There is a good chance I might be able to make it. Originally I was supposed to be in the sand box but things are changing everyday. Have my fingers crossed. You better be there. I need to sneak up on you this year!
faust3d Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 With no direct flights from here to Chicago I'll have to fly through NY. I'll probably spend some time there before and after the meet but spending Thursday through Monday in Chicago sounds like a plan. Most likely I will not be able to make it to Chicago, but when you are in NYC give me a buzz
The Monkey Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 We could do a little pre-gaming in NYC...
guzziguy Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 We could do a little pre-gamingdrinking in NYC... Well that was an easy fix.
recstar24 Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 Well that was an easy fix. I believe your fix was redundant, the phrase "pre-game" or the verb version "pre-gaming" already implies that the act of drinking is involved, correct?
morphsci Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 I believe your fix was redundant, the phrase "pre-game" or the verb version "pre-gaming" already implies that the act of drinking is involved, correct? Hopefully the pre-cask/barrel-strength challenge training is already underway.
Duggeh Posted November 25, 2009 Author Report Posted November 25, 2009 We could do a little pre-gaming in NYC... I have to pit stop somewhere on the road from Edinburgh. I would compete in such games.
