Grahame Posted December 6, 2018 Report Posted December 6, 2018 (edited) https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/12/06/bacon_vending_machine/ EDIT: from the comments "having living in the US for a decade, I can safely say that not only is the British style better, discovering a local farmer who sells it to the ex-pat community in the Seattle area was a delight!" Colin? a mission for you! Edited December 6, 2018 by Grahame

TMoney Posted December 21, 2019 Report Posted December 21, 2019 I’m hearing there is some swine disease that has resulted in massive amounts of pork losses around the world and is causing chaos in the commodities market. Maybe time to stock up, Grahame?

mikeymad Posted May 21, 2020 Report Posted May 21, 2020 5lbs of home made bacon. 10 days to make. 5 days cure. 5 days rest. Cooked up first test slices.. it is nice, with no bad stuff in it. It is a touch salty, but can refine the cure in the future. Followed this guy, we use to watch the show. And we have his books. Cheers And bacon on... 6 1
Craig Sawyers Posted May 21, 2020 Report Posted May 21, 2020 We're now using bacon from these guys https://www.finnebrogue.com/naked/our-range/naked-bacon/ that has no artificial curing agents. It is on supermarket shelves and is delicious. And hardly more expensive than regular bacon.
