grawk Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 well sure, you like bacon more than beefcake
NightWoundsTime Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 I was going to say that no-one could possibly resist a beefcake covered in bacon, then was repulsed by the thought.
Fitz Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 ^I like teufelshunde's post better. Why not both? Bacon & bourbon served by a younger Bacon.
Augsburger Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 Why not both? Bacon & bourbon served by a younger Bacon. Grahame Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 It exists. I'll just have to try and get there before the Kitchen shuts next time.
Iron_Dreamer Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 That is definitely going on my to-do list!
Edwood Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 I recently made some Eggs Benedict. I found that the Canadian Bacon was better when it was cooked in Bacon lard I've saved up.
Iron_Dreamer Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 I recently found that anything was better when it was cooked in Bacon lard I've saved up. Corrected
swt61 Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 I wasn't hungry when I clicked on this thread.
Edwood Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 Corrected LOL, so very true. Even chocolate chip cookies were better with bacon lard. I am not kidding.
Tyll Hertsens Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 Posted in Slower Forum, but reckon it belongs here.
jvlgato Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 Bacon Old Fashioned At the B Spot in Cleveland. Yummy!
jvlgato Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 Baconey aftertaste... Pretty good, I'd drink it again. Probably great if he'd used a better whiskey.
Edwood Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Posted in Slower Forum, but reckon it belongs here. LOL, now if that doesn't make turkey more flavorful, nothing else, will.
Grahame Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 For Science! "As part of this nutritious breakfast"* Mission Accomplished (With help from Joanne, and Maple Syrup dipping sauce)
NightWoundsTime Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 (edited) I thought that was a bowl of melted chocolate. Made cuban bread with bacon grease a few weeks ago, forgot to post it. Lard is in the traditional recipe for real cuban bread, so I used what was on hand. Added a slice of crumbled bacon to the dough. Best roast pork sandwich ever. Also G you gotta get into baking your bacon buddy. Frying just never gets it done. Edited December 1, 2011 by NightWoundsTime
