HemiSam Posted March 2 Report Posted March 2 I was fortunate to finally see Gary Clark Jr on his own vs a multi-band format (jam off type things). So impressive and the venue was intimate enough to really see him do his stuff. He had Grace Bowers & Hodge Podge open. Hard to believe the lady is now only 18...just wow. Best show I've seen in a good while. HS 6 Quote
Emooze Posted March 15 Report Posted March 15 On this past Sunday we saw Kodo during their tour and they were incredible. Taiko drums in a symphony hall are something else. 3 Quote
Torpedo Posted March 23 Report Posted March 23 How can they decently play any instrument on their knees? The left hand wrist posture is absolutely unwearable. Quote

HemiSam Posted Sunday at 04:58 PM Report Posted Sunday at 04:58 PM We finally got to see a local band that hadn't played local in a couple of years or so after they grew quite popular. Khruangbin...very eclectic, groovy music. Great show. Helado Negro opened. Pretty cool act I was not aware of previously. HS 4 Quote
grawk Posted Sunday at 07:54 PM Report Posted Sunday at 07:54 PM I’d love to see Khruangbin. The songs I’ve heard of theirs are good. 1 Quote
