John E Woven Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 In this year I'd prefer normal cds over all other formats Also, in Brent's post, he said nothing about being able to play vinyl
Dusty Chalk Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 (edited) I'm in this year, can play anything except minidisks and HD-DVD's*, and I boycott that stupid DualDisk thing; prefer XL t-shirts (any color, really -- that whole "all black" thing is largely posturing). I got no problem with international shipping. What's the target price, 18-25 like over there? I think we should all agree to stay near that, so that those of us who do don't feel bad when we receive something that's too generous. Those of you who are personal friends in real life can feel free to violate that rule (yes yes, I know -- with Dan, that's pretty much everybody). *and yes, that includes laserdisks. shellylh Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 I'm in - got a nice Paula Abdul CD in a white elephant gift exchange to pass along. Seriously, I assume that we should send a gift that we think the person might actually be able to use or even enjoy? I can play CD, SACD and wear a size medium shirt. All other disk will be used for ultimate frisbee.
luvdunhill Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 I'm in. I don't listen to music, but accept parts.
cetoole Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 I'm in. Expect something...different. I dont do any of this hi-rez nonsense either.
Asr Posted November 12, 2009 Author Report Posted November 12, 2009 In less than 8 hours we have almost twice as many people than Head-Fi's collected in....4 days? This is one of the reasons I love HC.
Absorbine_Sr Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 I'm in. I have Wham! and Black Oak Arkansas LP's just itching to go to someone!

MoonShine Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 Oooohh I can finally get rid of that Toad the Wet Sprocket CD, I'msoin. Currently I am limited to CD only.
Elephas Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 I would like to participate. Hmm, Paula Abdul sounds pretty good to me. But I have hopes that an exchange might help me improve my tastes in music. SACD or CD. International shipping.
morphsci Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 I forgot to say that I have no problem with international shipping and I could pretty much do any format other than reel-to-reel.
luvdunhill Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 I could pretty much do any format other than reel-to-reel.
morphsci Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 That will work, just not for a few years.
Dusty Chalk Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 Alright, before some nitpicker tries to send me a piano roll -- I do not have a piano roll player! I can do sheet music, however.
swt61 Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 I can do sheet music, however. No sheet?
