tkam Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 Well my new woody SR-200's arrived today (thanks again Juan). So far I'm pleasantly surprised, they have a pretty warm sonic signature and have much more bass than I was expecting. Here's a few pics (note these do not have hp1000 drivers):
tkam Posted August 26, 2006 Author Report Posted August 26, 2006 The cups on your 325's are much deeper than the ones on my SR-200's. Probably 2 or 3 times as deep. Oh and the headband on the SR-200's is much closer to the the current prestige series headband in terms of width. I think material quality is better though.
tkam Posted August 26, 2006 Author Report Posted August 26, 2006 GS1000 on the left, SR200 on the right
CD44hi Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 Glad to see them at their new home already Those a great pics. The wood is even more impresive in person. Ya, the headband is the typical Joe's SR series. I had an old SR325 with the HP drivers (which I sold to Larry now that I remember about 2 years ago), it also had the same headband. They are pretty intimate headphones, nice bass indeed. enjoy!
