tkam Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Courier: First Details of Microsoft's Secret Tablet - Microsoft courier tablet - Gizmodo Pretty damn cool vision for a future tablet/booklet pc. If the final devices are even close to as responsive as the video shows I'll be very impressed.
penger Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Hopefully gizmodo comes through and tells us more.
Sherwood Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Oh sweet Jesus that is the coolest tech demo I have ever seen.
n_maher Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 That is a pretty neat looking device. Not useful in my life really, but cool tech nonetheless.
Sherwood Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 This would be indispensible to my workflow. As is, I don't even bother using a computer, as I am pretty ingrained in a "notebook" style of organization. This could change my landscape. cool cool cool.

Yeah it would probably help me out a bit around here too. Though chances of getting work to pay for one are nil and we have to use their machines.
ingwe Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Hopefully they'll let us "leftys" play too.

Smeggy Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 I want! wonder if it has optical out and usb... mmmm, would be an awesome dual screen media player. I could clip it to my head and watch stereo movies, I could have one boob on each panel and wrap it around my face. we could play battleships on it. You could play a deathmatch with one of yourself on each screen. you could follow training demos. you could.... Erm, ok folks, nothing to see here, move along.....
manaox2 Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 I'm a tad worried about the rumor of locking out of windows 7 applications. I would prefer having all the software or freeware available to me on a normal PC. They aren't talking much about entertainment uses so far. I'm sure it'll be hacked though if true, dual boot would be sweet.
shellylh Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Looks cool but I am not so keep in the whole split screen thing for a tablet.
