aardvark baguette Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 Anyone ever get this message before, when logging in to Gmail? The page sits in a state of constant refresh. I had no problems accessing stuff from work earlier today Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 What Operating System? Version? Browser? Version? Linux/Ubunutu/latest, Firefox/3.5.2 here, works fine for me. I use http://mail.google.com/mail/ as my bookmark, try that. Quote
aardvark baguette Posted September 8, 2009 Author Report Posted September 8, 2009 OSX leopard (most recent before snow leopard) Fire Fox 3.5.2 Link doesnt work either. edit: Safari is working at the moment. I'll just use that. Quote
Hopstretch Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 Ur URI is too large. U should be flattered. Quote
Currawong Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Nuke your firefox cache and Gmail cookies. That'll fix it, well, more likely the latter will. Quote
deepak Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Are you emailing yourself that OJC list? Quote
n_maher Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Didn't gmail have some huge crash last week? I wonder if there are still ghosts in the machine? Quote
manaox2 Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Does that to me all the time on several computers. Emptying cache and/or repairing my connection fixes the problem typically. Quote

blessingx Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Like others, this happens to me once in a while (and post/pre-SL/Google recent crash). I get around it be going to another Google service - usually Reader - and log off there. Then go back to Gmail and login. Some redirect issue that keeps cycling. Quote
Chekhonte Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 I've had it happen to me too. If you're using windows try reinstalling the OS every couple of weeks. That gets rid of at least a couple of the bugs I run into. Quote
