tkam Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 What a great start to the season, BYU upsets Oklahoma and OSU barely hangs on against Navy.
MoonShine Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Before I say anything else in this thread I want to make it crystal clear that although I am from Oregon I am NOT a Ducks fan. What a joke that was on Thursday. Go Beavers!!!
guzziguy Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Go Beavers!!! I hate to point out the obvious, but we are almost all beaver fans here.
ojnihs Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 as much as I want the Big 10 to get back to its days of glamour, Ohio State is going to get rocked by USC this weekend. Go Northwestern Wildcats!
postjack Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 war damn eagle. would love to kick some tide ass this year.
humanflyz Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 If any one Pac-10 team can beat USC this year, it might be Cal. And as an alum, I couldn't be more excited! Go Bears!
Iron_Dreamer Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 If any one Pac-10 team can beat USC this year, it might be Cal. And as an alum, I couldn't be more excited! Go Bears! Yep, your bears definitely look like my Trojans' biggest potential conference stumbling block this year.
blubliss Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 No, Peter, we only lose to shitty teams .
Iron_Dreamer Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 Yeah, hence the world potential. Just like Oregon was last year. If we followed that logic, I guess we're in trouble, because Stanford is coming to the Coliseum again!
MoonShine Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 If any one Pac-10 team can beat USC this year, it might be Cal. And as an alum, I couldn't be more excited! Go Bears! Sorry that's the Beavers job.
humanflyz Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 Sorry that's the Beavers job. Well, if it's the same team that showed up against Boise State, I'm not so sure...
ojnihs Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 Great win for Michigan today. As much as it pains me to say this being a Northwestern fan... GO BUCKEYES!
penger Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 The ending to both the Michigan and USC games were pretty damn exciting to watch. Texas started really slow but as soon as they were behind, it seemed like they flipped a switch and shut the door.
humanflyz Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 Well, Cal finally broke out of their usual road slumps by getting the win over Minnesota. For a while in the 4th quarter, I thought, "here we go again" with the choking on the road, but they pulled out the win. And Jahvid Best is a speed freak: once he's outside, you can't catch him. Nobody believed me when I said that Huskies have a legitimate chance of upsetting USC, and they did. On the one hand, as a Bears fan, I'm glad somebody beat USC. But on the other hand, this loss does put more pressure on Cal to beat SC two weeks from now, and this win by the Huskies does nothing to lessen the media's prejudice against the Pac 10.
blubliss Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 (edited) What a dick thing to say. Nothing like kicking someone when they're down. Don't you think the pain is enough without rubbing it in. Edited September 20, 2009 by blubliss
Augsburger Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Bye Bye USC Up yours and whatever team you root for..............
ojnihs Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Trust me, I went to Northwestern. We're losing to fucking Syracuse right now. Big fucking surprise there though. What a dick thing to say. Nothing like kicking someone when they're down. Don't you think the pain is enough without rubbing it in. It's one football game man. Relax.
blubliss Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 (edited) Fuck off! It's not one game, if you follow college football. It's the 4th year in a row losing to an unranked team we should have beaten. Poor coaching decisions. Edited September 20, 2009 by blubliss
