Voltron Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 You didn't know Birgir was a baby-daddy?
spritzer Posted August 23, 2009 Report Posted August 23, 2009 Thanks guys. It was a crazy day to say the least, 14 hours of non-stop running plus a couple of hours to clean up. Just making sure the store was fully stocked was a nightmare since we sold a lot more breads then I thought we would, I focused mostly on pastries, cakes and the like, and I can't simply make more breads appear by snapping my fingers. Even though there are tricks to make them develop faster (warmer water, more yeast, adding enzymes and maltose etc.) they still need about 60 minutes in the proofer and another 30 in the oven. Let's just say I'm glad this is over...
Genetic Posted August 23, 2009 Report Posted August 23, 2009 (....) and I can't simply make more breads appear by snapping my fingers. You have exactly 25 years in front of you to find a solution before the next realy big celebration..... Amicalement
Augsburger Posted August 24, 2009 Report Posted August 24, 2009 I was away for a few days. Congratulations and happy birthday! Have you considered baking a loaf of bread to look like a pair of Stax cans in recognition of this momentous occaision?
spritzer Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 I once saw an Accuphase A-50 cake on a Swedish forum so a T2 cake is certainly doable. I can also print on paper you can eat (it's made out of glucose) so getting the fine detail is certainly possible. Breads are a lot harder to control...
