adasdes Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 I'm still waiting for my case and a few board sets as well. Would be great to get some kind of update or at least get my boards since those all seem to be finished...
mypasswordis Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 Anyone want to split an order of 50 (25 each) 2SK216 at Bdent? Or if there's another, we can split 51 across three people (17 each). If not, I'm probably just going to order 25 for myself. Hope you guys hear back soon about the boards/chassis.
artvlas Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Probably the exact list of the order remained at whom?

mypasswordis Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 Cool! Where's the volume control? Did you reduce your rails to +-450V? Would love a shot of the internal PCBs if you have one.

eggil Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Cool looking amp you built there! Congrats! And now: show the insides please
bbest Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Hi guyes! Wanted to assemble KGSSHV or T2. Could someone say what amplifier is better? Does this difference make sense compared to costs difference between KGSSHV and T2? And who could sell PCB for T2( or KGSSHV) ?
spritzer Posted October 9, 2014 Author Report Posted October 9, 2014 T2 is better but also something like 5-10 times the cost. I have PCB's for the KGSSHV. We need inside pics of the T2.
bbest Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 I'm newbie here and unfortunately can not write PMs. T2 of cause must be better KGSSHV (besides I intend to make amplifier for Stax 007, it's sounds good with KGHSS) but is it really too big distance between them? Could you say how much PCB costs (I need off board version)? And some one here made Cube KGSSHV with four boards. What version of board do you have? Thanks for answers. T2 is better but also something like 5-10 times the cost. I have PCB's for the KGSSHV. We need inside pics of the T2.
JoaMat Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) Thank you for the kind words. Edited November 12, 2015 by JoaMat 2
spritzer Posted October 9, 2014 Author Report Posted October 9, 2014 I love it, 1000V on hand etched PCB's. I'm newbie here and unfortunately can not write PMs. I only have the onboard version and it is the latest design available. They are 120$ for the set plus shipping. As for the difference, sure they are different but the KGSSHV is a highly capable amplifier in its own right. The T2 is utter overkill in every way.
kevin gilmore Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 I love it a lot. lt1021 makes perfect sense, very stable part, stack of led's not needed etc...
Victor Chew Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Nice work Jomat. How does it sound?
nopants Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 are you reusing the original diyt2 supply?
JoaMat Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) Thanks a lot for all kind words. Edited November 11, 2015 by JoaMat
wink Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 So, when are you going into production? Justin could have some competition here.......
