I have just checked KG's gerber files, and they don't have the trace.

Waiting for the master's input before modifing anything. "Better safe than sorry"

I'm just waiting to get these back.  They are my shrunk down boards.  The chassis is going to be 12" x 14.3" x 3.3".  This will be the same as the power supply.

Most everything is SMD now and I'm looking forward to stuffing this in a couple of weeks (I've got all the parts).

The boards support two styles of batteries (jfet/LED or LT1021-10).  Also they support both the original CSS as well as the 10m90s / DN2540 (thanks to JimL).

I have to give props to Kevin and Birgir who did the original layouts.  This thing is a beast with over 540 components.

G600, Methinks it would also be a good idea to remove the flux from the board as a matter of concern.

At these voltages, it's very advisable to limit the chances of leakage between connections caused by the flux.

I have removed near all of it, this picture is several months old. And crappy as usual.

Kerry, that is a massive achievement, cheers !

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear.

I can't understand why I don't have a trace here :

If you look at the schematic, one resistor string reference O+ whereas the other reference O-

Here is a pic of a board I have:

Adding a wire fixed the odd behaviour of that particular output.

Now everything tests fine.

But if I'm correct the gerber files need correction.

I was in the middle of cleaning my psu pcb when I saw this score/break for the first time. does anyone else have this on their boards? should I be worried? it's right at the point where the angle bracket ends.

Gentlemen, it's christmas obviously.

Today my T2 is making its first playback. I have just received a Birgir modified 007A. Yes, I haven't owned anything from Stax since today.

It sounds so effortless and so wonderful... and weired noise free even with my 95 % Takman build (no Xicons, Inu's style).

After 10 months of careful building, it's alive. Maybe the first KGT2 in France ?

If there is a Xmas magic, I must have tasted it today.

Great work, Jean-Denis!

And just confirming for others that you flush mounted your takman resistors without any noise issues. Could help future builders.

Thank you gents.

A very bold attention to K. Gilmore, Birgir, "from overseas" George, Kubo and all the ones behind the project.

Kerry, your iteration is nothing short of sexy. Almost to the point of building one !

Got the boards back and finished stuffing most of it.  Here's some pics (forgive the phone pics and bad lighting)

What is the type of green resistors in batteries?
