lcd2? already?

I want one!!

I missed out on lcd1. gotta have the -2 version now (lol).

the top headband isn't appealing but the rest look ok to me. I would change out the bare (sharp?) metal earcup supports or at least cover them somehow. it does not look 'touch friendly'.

but the wood cups and leather (?) parts are a nice improvement over the lcd1.

this is probably not common knowledge but the stock cable on the lcd1 does not use the shield as a shield. The 2 signal wires are tied together as the positive and the shield is used as a ground signal. The cable itself is heavy, although flexible, it retains some of its prior shape and even in my short use, managed to continually twist upon itself - so agreed on all fronts, the original cable is a serious faux pas ..dB

just when you thought it was safe to play in the woods, along comes little red riding hood to tempt you deeper ..dB

Holy shit that's awesome, except for the headband. Can't wait for impressions + info on cost.

The enclosures look very nice and hopefully they will sound even better than the LCD-1. The headband is definitely fugly and see some upgrade options with it. Much easier than upgrading the enclosure.

Is it just me, or does the woodwork (finishing) and the overstuffed Denon pads look familiar?

Dear God please set our minds at ease, that they did not outsource to Lawton Audio!

If not, then I'm interested.

:) I'm curious as to how they compare to your memory of the Donuts, if you would be so kind as to oblige.

I'll be happy to compare. My memory of the Donuts is still pretty vivid.

damn n bugger!!

They do look comfy though. The wood does look a bit rough so Lawton may well be involved. The pads do look like the Denons. Hopefully not as that'll really push up the price.

I'm glad that they went the route of pre-war crystal headset design though, very retro and very functional, I like.

Fark, those look promising! I agree that I am not wild on the headband, but the cups and pads look very promising. I wonder if they are just using the Jmoney denon pads for it? I am definitely going to have to hear this one, just hope it isnt too much more than the LCD-1.

I wish they'd put me out of my misery and let me know by how much I can't afford them :(

I actually like the semi steampunk look of them and think they'll be rather comfy. it's only a matter of price and whether they sound fantabulous or not. Will wait with bated breath for impressions and reviews as it'll certainly be a while before I can get a set of my own.

WOWs! this was sooner than I expected... I wasnt sure about the headband. But I like the way it still has that kind of retro Engineer design look it. The cups look good and the pads look like they are v.comfy (if they are anything like Denon pads then deffo.

I wonder what the price is.....
