MrSlacker Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 mobile.head-case.org works great on both my Touch Pro 2 and SE C510a. Thanks!
JBLoudG20 Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 Thanks a lot, Todd. The mobile theme works great on my BB.
NoValidTitle Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 Yeah I'm also seeing the problem with loading big threads on tapatalk. It will load 9 or so posts of the stax thread and doesn't give a button to load more posts. So hopefully it gets improved because otherwise it is a nice app.
kelvinz Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 mobile.head-case.org works great on both my Touch Pro 2 and SE C510a. Thanks! work ok on my TP2 but it seems to not auto fit the screen, is this happening to you as well?
tkam Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 fyi the issues with big threads on tapatalk are supposed to be fixed now.
grawk Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 (edited) it doesn't say there's an update for me, and big threads are still a problem. I use it for pm and smaller threads tho, and just switch to the browser for the big ones. Edited September 4, 2009 by grawk
tkam Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 the update that supposedly fixes it was server side
grawk Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 ok, I'll try again then, yup all better, thanks
Salt Peanuts Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 (edited) Been using tapatalk here as well and it's been working well for me. EDIT - One odd behavior I've noticed is that posts I've made from tapatalk doesn't show up as "Last Post" when you go to the main forums page. For example, Dan's post above is showing up as the "Last Post" for the "Suggestions" sub-forum even though my post here was made after his. Edited September 6, 2009 by Salt Peanuts
guzziguy Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 That's because Dan always has to have the last word!
Dusty Chalk Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 It probably just needs refreshing, and there probably is no way to force it to do so.
falkon Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 any way to increase the size of the page numbers on the mobile theme? maybe make it ---1---2---3---...
Currawong Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Can I ask that the Go-to-last-post button be added into the mobile theme? If there isn't someone good at editing VB themes, I can work out how to do it on another forum I run and pass along the info.
CarlSeibert Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 It would be cool if you could filter subscribed threads for those with new messages in them, too. But no biggie.
grawk Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 It would be cool if you could filter subscribed threads for those with new messages in them, too. But no biggie. The control panel does that
CarlSeibert Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 Hmmm. I see a link that says "View all subscribed threads". It looks like the one in the full size version. When I follow it, I get the same list of subscribed threads - which is all of them as best I can tell - and the same option "View all subscribed threads". Click the link again and the same list is returned. This with Opera on a Windows Mobile 6.1 device. Stand by. I'll try Internet Exploder and see how it behaves. .......... same behavior in IE.
tkam Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 for those of you using tapatalk, it's up to version 1.3 now and i've installed the latest version of the server side software for it.
Hopstretch Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Thanks tkam. Looks like 1.3 has some nice enhancements (full pagination, view online members and one-click message).
grawk Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 1 step forward, 2 back. Long threads are broken again.
Hopstretch Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 (edited) 1 step forward, 2 back. Long threads are broken again. Looks OK to me. Edit: You're right. It can't deal with truly epic threads on the "What Are You Listening To" scale, but lesser large ones like "What Did You Do Today" etc. seem fine. Edited September 28, 2009 by Hopstretch
Hopstretch Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 They've made some nice UI changes over the last few updates, but it still can't handle the big threads. A real pity.
grawk Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 There's a trick, and then it works. If you hit a thread it gets forgetful on, back out, hit refresh, then you can enter and read the end of the thread.
tkam Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 i updated the server-side plugin this morning, it was a couple versions behind.
tkam Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 fyi there's also a version of tapatalk available for android. it's currently in beta you can find it in the android market by searching for tapatalk
Hopstretch Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 TapaTalk seems to be working pretty much perfectly now after the last update.
