mrarroyo Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 so the company has a business relationship with Sennheiser or someone at Sennheiser has a personal relationship with Graham Slee. Hi Justin, since I am a member of Graham's forum and like his amps I once asked him and he stated no just the way Sennheiser UK chose to show their cans. Fireball, we all hear differently and your best bet would be to listen to some of the amps you are interested using your HD650. I have owned the X-Can (original), X-Can V2, and X-Can V3 all stock and modified by Mike (Pinkfloyd) of Rock Grotto. My favorite was the X-Can V2, it is not the most accurate amp but it gets my foot tapping to the music. Good luck on your search, it is a big part of the fun.
fireball Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 Thank you, mrarroyo for your kind wish! I know nobody with Graham or V2/V3. So it's almost impossible to listen it. Our music stores don't have them either. I know that we are all hear sounds (and music) differently, so, I need advise not about exactly the best amp for my ears and brain, but a good one (universal) for HD650. Anyone has an experience with Little Dot MK IV 4 SE Headphone Tube Amplifier/Pre-Amp?
Pars Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 I would suggest you might be better served at http://www.head-fi.org
fireball Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 Well, Pars. Probably, I had to explain why I'm asking here, not there. As you might notice, I addressed my first message to "specialists", in other words, I need advice from people who do know technical side of the hardware, not just subjective impression of one amp or another. This is because I need a good electronical pair to my headphones. That's why I registered here and keep asking a questions. Hope, you understand me.
shellylh Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 We are not here to serve you, go away.
RudeWolf Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 But how can we know what will be your subjective impression from the electronical pair to your headphones? Electronically many (most) amps can induce acoustic activity from the HD650 driver.
fireball Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 shellylh, yes you are, personally you are. Now it's your doom=) Serve me or loose your hearing! RudeWolf, I don't know that, I still didn't hear the electronical pair. I see you had to, so please tell me my subjective impression, since you know everything, as I see. You're also a smart person. But since I'm not as smart as you are, I believe I can't understand such a high thoughts. Hey, here's much more fun then any other place! I'll stay! Forever! Next smart-one please.
grawk Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 From a response to my PM suggesting he take 2 weeks to figure out what he missed the first time: Do I need it? huh... Still, now there's nothing deeper than 3-rd grade. As far. My grandfather told me once, that if person's lacks of words to say, he's going to fall to blows. Is he a fool? You bet. I'm 100% sure that I missed absolutely nothing before and here. Take care... ...and stay cool - don't loose your own face.
RudeWolf Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 Hmmm... Seems like someone who knew what he was dealing with. An ancient butthurt or something.
skullguise Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 I'm just afraid that my face will fall off now......
morphsci Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 i'm guessing some kind of developmental disability. Yep. The technical term is "Dumb as a stump".
swt61 Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 (edited) i'm guessing some kind of developmental disability. I was thinking he sniffed too many paint fumes, but your guess is even better. Jim, I've worked on stumps much smarter than he. Edited November 12, 2011 by swt61
