fatman711 Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 Hey guys, Just letting you know that we have released a new line of products. They aren't on our site yet but here are the details: Denon (D2000, D5000, D7000) These pads are much thicker than the stock pads, allowing much more air flow which means more space for instrument separation, bass control, and overall better clarity. Leather will last much longer than the stock Denon pleather pads. Please take a look at this review thread written by Lee at Cryo Parts: JMoney Denon Ear Pads - Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio Price: $62.99USD ($7.50 international shipping flat rate) Beyerdynamic (DT770, DT880s, DT990s, etc): These Beyer pads have been described as being the best ever pad made for Beyers. There are numerous good comments roaming around Head-fi. With these pads, overall tonal balance is preserved, bass control, and clarity. If you have issues with bloated bass, get these pads and they will fix your problems. Please take a look at this review written by Skylab: REVIEW: JMoney Audio Genuine Leather earpads for Beyer DT770/880/990 - Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio Price: $54.99USD + shipping ($5 international flat rate shipping) Please PM me for ordering details or email me at [email protected] thanks guys!
HeadphoneAddict Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 Nice! Looking forward to trying these out. Someday I'll need to order some custom pads for my HE Audio Jade, since their leather pads still smell like a sweaty horse saddle from whatever they used to cure the leather in China. Blech!
fatman711 Posted July 20, 2009 Author Report Posted July 20, 2009 thanks. Your pair is going out tomorrow.
penger Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 Any thoughts on doing some type of Grado earpad? They look great btw.
fatman711 Posted July 20, 2009 Author Report Posted July 20, 2009 thanks for the kind words. I do have plans for a Grado leather pad.
fatman711 Posted July 21, 2009 Author Report Posted July 21, 2009 Will these pads fit DT-250? No, they don't. Sorry.
HeadphoneAddict Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 Nice! Looking forward to trying these out. Someday I'll need to order some custom pads for my HE Audio Jade, since their leather pads still smell like a sweaty horse saddle from whatever they used to cure the leather in China. Blech! thanks. Your pair is going out tomorrow. So, would I simply have to rip my Jade pads off (glued on) and send them to you to get some decent ones made, or would photos and measurements work? Does one have to get several people to go in on a batch of Jade pads?
penger Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 According to the other site, I believe you need something like 50 pairs kinda like how the HE90 thing is going on at the other site. Link
fatman711 Posted July 21, 2009 Author Report Posted July 21, 2009 Yes, thanks for pointing out that thread. Basically for anything custom, that is what I need. It's all explained in that thread.
HeadphoneAddict Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 Thanks, I'll go check out the details - I think 50 is at least double the pairs of Jade out there, so I don't think it is doable. I will email Fang about the leather curing smell.
Smeggy Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 I'll be on a set of those Denon pads as soon as I have the cash. They look perfect for what I want.
Currawong Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 I admit not paying much interest with the headbands, but seeing those pads, they look fantastic.
Smeggy Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 yah, well the look very close in design the the O2 pads which imo are the best pads I've found.
fatman711 Posted July 21, 2009 Author Report Posted July 21, 2009 Thanks for the support guys. Sorry Larry that I couldn't help you out with that one but I hope you understand my situation and how I make them. -Jeremy
Smeggy Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 Any chance of a pic showing the rear of the pads so I can see if I could use them on phones other than Denon?

Smeggy Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 Cheers Larry, whats the outside diameter of that plastic ring, any idea?
HeadphoneAddict Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 Cheers Larry, whats the outside diameter of that plastic ring, any idea? 4 inches including the thickness of the material around it, so maybe 1/16th inch less than 4".
