Dusty Chalk Posted October 30, 2015 Report Posted October 30, 2015 I used to love playing ragtime, never were my pinkies as strong as when I played ragtime. Lots of octaves. 1

ironbut Posted November 16, 2015 Report Posted November 16, 2015 (edited) Thanks Antonio, I love that gal! This tape is supposed to have been made in Cleveland the day before Redding and Bar_Kays died in the plane crash. Tragic! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P29E7YYMD7o Edited November 16, 2015 by ironbut

Dusty Chalk Posted February 10, 2016 Report Posted February 10, 2016 I cannot explain why I find this as powerful as I do, and yet I do. http://www.pastemagazine.com/r/1_mgkkduno
ironbut Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 I love that video as well Dusty. Thanks. Not even on the same level, but go watch Baskets. I've enjoyed it so far. 1
Dusty Chalk Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 Will do. Is it a movie? Will figure out later. "I (Who Have Nothing)" reminds me a bit of Nick Cave, for some reason. Which microphone is that, do you think? I see that it's an sE Electronics, but...do you think it's this one? Damn, it sounds good. And that backing track has some deliciously insane bass. And a great version of Take Me to the River without them all being doped out of their minds like on SNL. 1
ironbut Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Looks like that's the mic Peter. https://www.soundonsound.com/sos/mar08/articles/segeminiz5600aii.htm 1

Dusty Chalk Posted May 7, 2016 Report Posted May 7, 2016 I realize others may have seen these before, but I'm watching them for the first time, and I'm wondering if all their videos are this awesome:
