Dusty Chalk Posted September 11, 2020 Author Report Posted September 11, 2020 The hairless cat, so...Sphinx?
EdipisReks1 Posted September 12, 2020 Report Posted September 12, 2020 You would almost think they got along.
Dusty Chalk Posted October 5, 2020 Author Report Posted October 5, 2020 And someone is about to lose their dog. 😭 I could hear the bawling from across the parking lot. I felt so bad for them...
Dusty Chalk Posted October 5, 2020 Author Report Posted October 5, 2020 Besides, she's a scrawny little thing.
Dusty Chalk Posted October 6, 2020 Author Report Posted October 6, 2020 Yup, she’s a keeper. Knows a sucker/cat whisperer when she sees/smells one. 5
Dusty Chalk Posted October 7, 2020 Author Report Posted October 7, 2020 Today’s Tacocat update: She stopped hiding after about 24 hours and is very affectionate. She spends each time I come in her room (keeping them separated for now) unable to decide which she wants more, food or cuddling. She already lets me rub her belly! 6
tkam Posted October 7, 2020 Report Posted October 7, 2020 I wish my life could be this chill and relaxing 8
Dusty Chalk Posted November 19, 2020 Author Report Posted November 19, 2020 Potentially renaming Tacocat to Kikiki (so like Kiki, except 150% more), but not doing it officially until I stop changing my mind, I've already changed it twice. Still in quarantine, draws blood less often, but has destroyed not one but two litter mats. WTF? I've never seen this before. This kind: https://www.chewy.com/frisco-paw-shaped-cat-litter-mat/dp/193007?utm_source=google-product&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=hg&utm_content=Frisco&utm_term=&gclid=Cj0KCQiAqdP9BRDVARIsAGSZ8Aks8QgOraW2MO69eNR30Oa_5ES2WnObUBXqWyy5Pgr7Hj6_MRC-Zf8aAsqHEALw_wcB Going to keep her in quarantine even if she tests clean for worms next week. I don't want her doing that to Bobby. 3
skullguise Posted November 19, 2020 Report Posted November 19, 2020 Wow, what happened between "very affectionate" to "drawing blood less often"
en480c4 Posted November 19, 2020 Report Posted November 19, 2020 These two just turned two! They’re the best. 9 1
swt61 Posted November 19, 2020 Report Posted November 19, 2020 Beautiful cats! On 10/4/2020 at 7:24 PM, Dusty Chalk said: Tacocat I personally like Chalupa Chatte better. Less pedestrian. 1 1

She doesn’t use her claws on me all the time, so she is learning, I just feel we still have a long way to go. 1

skullguise Posted November 19, 2020 Report Posted November 19, 2020 You could go with the longest single-word palindrome....but it may be tough to pronounce (and has little relevance to kitties, I'd hope) "saippuakivikauppias" The longest known palindromic word is saippuakivikauppias (19 letters), which is Finnish for a dealer in lye (caustic soda) 1

ktm Posted November 24, 2020 Report Posted November 24, 2020 I've got a black cat that came with the house. He came wandering up after we moved in. It took months to transition him to the indoors. He was king of the backyard, doing battle with anything that moved. He would kill it and drop it on the back patio. After three years, we don't let him out at all. We do let him out in the screen porch. He likes lap sitting, but quite often extends his claws when he's purring and getting a rub. so affectionate and blood letting go hand in hand around here. 3
