emelius Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 Was kind of let down...Wanted to see more of the 1st car (preferably on a dry track) & would've rather them used the BOSS Mustang which I think would've done just as well & lessened their complaints... Quote
emelius Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 (edited) but the series is going better than Top Gear Korea:)... although it's not letting me post the video...argh...Corvette, helicopter, Korea, kaboom... Edited February 11, 2013 by emelius Quote
catscratch Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 Another episode that's only decent. The BRZ/FRS review was pretty good and the interview was ok, but the main film was, dare I say it, a bit boring. Besides, Clarkson's anti-American rant is getting a bit old by now. Quote

catscratch Posted July 1, 2013 Report Posted July 1, 2013 I thought it was quite a weak episode too. The racing segment was good, the rest was kinda meh. Bland, and forced. Quote
mikeymad Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 Yeah that is like Bugatti not letting them take the veyron on the track for many years. Quote
catscratch Posted July 9, 2013 Report Posted July 9, 2013 (edited) Much better episode, though what the point of May's race was, I don't really know. The quality of their camera work has gotten seriously epic. Well, either that, or their post-processing is really good. Edited July 9, 2013 by catscratch Quote
deepak Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 The quality of their camera work has gotten seriously epic. Well, either that, or their post-processing is really good. It's staged. If you rewatch it you can see there are already motorcycle tracks in a few of the segments. NTTAWWT, it would have been a major pain in the ass to film that all in real time. I thought it was a bit sad to see such a historic building abandoned. Quote
n_maher Posted July 15, 2013 Report Posted July 15, 2013 Looking forward to seeing this tonight. Quote
Edwood Posted July 16, 2013 Author Report Posted July 16, 2013 "Budget" Supercars. LOL. Only on Top Gear. Holy shit, is the housing market and economy really THAT bad in Spain? Quote
n_maher Posted July 16, 2013 Report Posted July 16, 2013 I was wondering that too, Ed. Those empty apartment/condo/house areas were like post-apocalypse crazy. Quote
n_maher Posted July 16, 2013 Report Posted July 16, 2013 There's only so much you can stage and the stuff they were driving by had a pretty authentic, unmaintained but vacant quality about it. It is a feeling that I very much remember from working on abandoned military facilities back in the late 90s. It's all there, just waiting to be turned on. It can be freaky in real life. Quote
