As DAC with such an easy analogue output may sound better than heavy class A?

Most audiophiles equate "build quality" with physical heft/weight (and pretty circuit boards with nice symmetrically-laid out components). Many discrete I/V and/or output stages are nothing more than discrete op-amps anyway. Just because it is discrete doesn't mean it will perform and sound better. Looks and feels impressive though...

Bought try Berkeley Alpha Series 2

Do not understand. In my Spectral SDR-2000 analog output in the class A on transistors, and in Berkeley on the OPA. What is the world coming audio?

Spectral weight 52 lbs

Berkeley Alpha weight 9 lbs.

What's the catch?

Soon get Berkeley and compare personally

Listening to the Spectral SDR-2000 and Berkeley Alpha Series 2

In direct comparison to be clear. Waiting Berkeley

What could be more clear?  Nothing.  The answer is nothing.

I don't know what's wrong with you people, I understand him perfectly.  He is awaiting arrival of the Berkeley Audio Design DAC, and he's going to do a direct comparison.

KnyazHM, please post both the original Russian and your translations from now on, so if there's any confusion, we can go back to the original text.
