jp11801
Cross post just in case peeps here that do not go there want to attend. I'm still hammering out the location but the date is firm. Ok folks I know some of us are still nursing hangovers from CanJam but there seems to be enough excitement left to schedule one of our regular meets. Date Saturday August 8th from 10am to 6pm Place TBD I am speaking with a few places, the Hilton Garden Inn in San Mateo is not available on that date so I am checking with other area hotels

Asr
Still thinking about flying out but not sure yet. And a >$300 flight cost puts a definite damper on it. I thought the airlines were supposed to be decreasing their summer fares...
Iron_Dreamer
Just poke around and you should find a good deal eventually. I just booked LAX->HNL for $235 round trip out the door! Oh, and I should definitely be at the meet too.
909
i could probably manage to find my way there.
raif
I am glad to see this so soon after CanJam. I wasn't able to make it down due to prior obligations so it will be exciting to see everyone('s gear) again after a long absence from the scene. justin
jp if it can be done, it would be nice if the hotel is under $100 with taxes What about Sleestack's place in San Jose

Voltron
In for sure. Yeah, yeah, that's what you said about CanJam Lloyd! I just mentioned to JP the other day that I was bummed you didn't show. It will be good to see you in August, though (and not just for Becky's toffee pecans either ). TheCool
What is the driving distance from Stankonia? Well, it's impossible to drive from Stankonia, but my mom's birthday is around that time so I'll more than likely be visiting L.A. I'm sure you're quite aware of the driving distance from there . penger
Hopefully it's also closer to good restaurants. San Mateo has some solid asian restaurants. There's also this burger place called Jeffrey's that my dad says is supposed to be solid.
Icarium
Yeah San Mateo's Santa Ramen and Little Sichuan are quite great for ramen and sichuan cuisine. Jeffrey's is good too I've heard.
